Draper Aden is one of the largest engineering, surveying and environmental services companies in the Mid-Atlantic. We will pay them a visit and two certified Drone pilots will give a presentation on Drone Safety. See write up and address below. Application and Safety of Drones & their Payloads at Work

Two Draper Aden Associate FAA Part 107 Pilots will review several different Drone configurations with a hands-on display to review operational characteristics and limitations of the equipment. Operation of a Drone in the Commercial space requires Safety procedures to be followed to comply with FAA Regulations, the Part 107 Pilots will briefly review their Pre-Flight Safety Procedures along with Flight Mapping/Planning with grids. A detailed discussion of batteries to include: transportation; storage; charging; Heat; Cold; Operation and end of life. Several different types of payloads will be reviewed with their application and use with the Drone.

A USAF CAP Lt. Col. who is the Director of Safety for the Mid-Atlantic Region will be present in addition to the two FAA Part 107 Pilots to discuss Flight Safety Operations.

When you leave this brief course the FAA Part 107 requirements for the operation of a fleet of Drones along with their required payloads you will have a better understanding of the many different FAA requirements and safety obligations for the safe operation of a Drone.
