ASSP Lunch Meeting at TRC (formerly Draper-Aden)

Important Talk on the VCU Burn UnitPlease join us on  Monday, May 18th at Noon at TRC Headquarters (formerly Draper Aden) for a great talk from retired Fire Chief Jerry Pruden who is the Director of the Old Dominion Firefighters Burn Foundation. Jerry’s presentation will provide a detailed look at how the Old Dominion Firefighters Foundation collaborates with the Evans-Haynes Burn Center at VCU to meet it’s mission of providing the “Best care  possible for Firefighters in the event they suffer a burn injury and end up in the Evans-Haynes Burn Center”. Jerry will also talk about a project utilizing science to decrease the potential of firefighter burn injuries across the country. The Foundation provides educational opportunities for local First Responders, Burn Care Team Members of VCU and Fire Prevention Education and support to the Richmond Metro area. Jerry is a retired Captain from Chesterfield Fire and EMS with over 44 years of service.  TRC Address is 1030 Wilmer Ave. Suite 100 Richmond VA 23227.
